The following employee/owners and staff of D. Robinson Contracting are available and may be involved with projects in various tasks according to their specialties and expertise.
John Barker, P.Eng., GSC
President
Mr. Barker has over thirty-eight years experience in the construction industry, as an Estimator, Engineer and Project Administrator. He has been awarded the Canadian Construction Association Gold Seal Certificate for excellence and professional experience in Project Management. He holds a B.A.Sc in Civil engineering from U.B.C. and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia.
Since 1979 he has been employed by D. Robinson Contracting Ltd. in the positions of President, Vice President, Engineer, Estimator, and Project Manager, participating in a variety of industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.
Dan Horton
Estimator/Project Manager
Mr. Horton has worked in the Construction Industry for thirty years, as a Carpenter, Supervisor, Estimator, and Project Co-ordinator. He worked in Powell River for most of his career, and in the Industrial and Commercial sector of the industry since 1979. Dan joined our company as an Estimator and Project Manager in 2003.
Andy Christensen
Construction Superintendent/Estimator/Project Manager
Mr. Christensen has over Twenty Five (25) years experience in the construction industry beginning as a carpenter apprentice. He worked as a journeyman and carpenter foreman for eight years prior to joining D. Robinson Contracting Ltd. Since 1988 he has worked as a Carpenter, Carpenter Foreman, and Superintendent in our field operations. In 2005 Andy moved to our head office, and drawing on his many years of field experience, has become a successful Estimator and Project Manager.

Our construction supervisors are responsible for the day to day operation of projects in the field, including the daily administration of our company Health and Safety Programme which insures that the Safety considerations are paramount in our field operations.
These supervisors each have a minimum of twenty years of experience in Industrial and Commercial civil works construction.
