D. Robinson Contracting Ltd. celebrates over fifty years of service to the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional construction markets on Vancouver Island and throughout British Columbia. During those years we have maintained a tradition of high quality construction and professional construction management.
D. Robinson Contracting Ltd. has the most experienced and professional group of construction personnel available in this area. Our superintendents and project administrators each have over 25 years of experience and have all participated at senior levels of supervision on projects ranging in value from a few thousand to multi-million dollars. Our project managers and superintendents have earned and received national Gold Seal certification.
From our head office in Nanaimo, we work extensively throughout Vancouver Island and maintain qualified and experienced supervisors and crews who reside throughout our service area.
In recognition of our commitment to jobsite safety, D. Robinson Contracting has been awarded STAR Certificate of Recognition (COR) by Construction Safety Association of BC. All operations of D. Robinson Contracting are carried out in accordance with our formal Safety Programme. All personnel receive safety training, and safety considerations are constantly monitored on our projects. As a result we have been in a merit position with the Workers' Compensation Board for many years.
We construct all types of industrial, commercial and institutional buildings and a large part of our business is in the field of industrial civil works maintenance where we have completed many concrete and timber works restoration projects and chemical resistant high-build epoxy coatings installations.
We maintain computerized estimating, scheduling and project financial management systems to ensure timely response to changing conditions on our projects.

FACILITIES
D. Robinson Contracting operates from our own facilities at Nanaimo, B.C.
We have a modern office of 2000 sqft, with fully computerized estimating, cost control, scheduling, and project accounting facilities.
We have a carpentry shop and warehouse facilities of 3500 sqft. and an acre of outside storage.
Our building and yard are situated on a 1.3 acre lot in the attractive Mostar Industrial park in the north side of the City of Nanaimo.
